Horseshoe Cincinnati – Jack casino must pay a $50K fine or lose its liquor permit
Jack casino has been given 21 days to pay a fine of $50,000 to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission or the casino will lose its liquor permit on the 19th of January. Jack casino has been accused of over-serving Cory Lippmeier, 35, in March, at the then-Horseshoe Casino. With a blood-alcohol content of .22, Lippmeier left the casino and drove his Dodge Caliber at speeds reaching 147 mph. Lippmeier drove his vehicle into the back of a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Scott Petredis, 41. Both vehicles hit a highway wall near the Combs-Hehl Bridge on Interstate 275. Petredis was killed as a result of the crash, while Lippmeier was sentenced to six years in prison for aggravated vehicular homicide.
